Wow what an auspicious start to this couples marriage... the morning started with rain showers and just before the set time for the wedding it cleared producing this stunning rainbow that ended right at The Tea Rooms, Gunners' Barracks, Mosman where the ceremony was to take place. The rain continued to clear through the morning creating this amazing clear blue sky and fabulous wedding photography. Margaret and Simon selected a small wedding attended by their closest family and friends. The ceremony included traditions from both their families heritage of Jewish and Chinese touching on the fact that both their grandparents moved to Australia away from hardship.
We met the groom at the venue as they were setting up in the courtyard for the ceremony, and then the bride arrived utilising the bridal preparation room at Gunners' Barracks for last minute touch ups. Following the ceremony all the guests moved up to George's Headland for the stunning views across Sydney Harbour and out the heads, where we spent some time with the couple capturing this beautiful morning for them. Before moving on to a lovely lunch in the Tea Rooms at Gunners' Barracks. The bride handmade all the details herself including the bouquets, place cards and the cake and chuppah under which they got married were made by the mother of the groom - Kim, as you can see from our photos every detail has the personal touch.
