Pregnancy portrait photography should be taken when you feel best in your pregnancy, many people feel they look their best at the beginning of the third trimester when they have a beautiful round belly. It's really up to you, just don't leave it too late (or we'll have to change it to a newborn photography shoot instead)!

Arranging the shoot

For your appointment we generally block out the morning or afternoon on your chosen day, then work around what time suits you best. Think about where you would like the photos taken, either in the privacy of your own home if you are looking for intimate maternity portrait photos, or at a location which means a lot to you as a couple. Bare in mind that for outdoor photos the light is best at the beginning and end of the day when it is less harsh than the middle of the day.

We'll happily consult with you via phone or email about suggested locations and clothing for your shoot. Plus we suggest to bring along any personal touches such as baby items or props you'd like to include in your shoot.

Pregnancy Portrait Photography Package Details

We work as a team with one of us looking through the lens and the other styling the shoot, looking for the optimum light and various backgrounds. The pregnancy portrait photography shoot will take approximately one to two hours from which you will receive a DVD of approximately 100 – 150 RAW 6x4" high resolution images. Plus an online album of 30 retouched, enhanced images which you can download and print without watermarks.

Then, to make your captured memories last, we can produce for you striking prints which have been beautifully retouched and enhanced as art prints, canvases, acrylic blocks and books.
