Another year for banking memories of Peter & Callum. I've been having family portrait sessions with these two for over 8 years. As a single parent you don't often get photos of yourself with your child just having fun, so Peter has asked me along to a fun adventure with himself and Callum every year to capture these memories over time.
Last year was their last session with their lovely Black Labrador Onyx, who died of old age earlier this year. So at this session I got to meet their new puppy Zoomer, what a bundle of energy and lots of fun.
As always looking foward to the next adventure boys x

What a stunning afternoon we had at Echo Point Park, Roseville Chase for these fun family portraits. We chose the location because their dog Dali could come along too which was really important. She's a rescue dog, who used to be a breeding dog so not a great life. When they rescued her she was very over weight and badly looked after. Now look at her, she's got a second chance at lift and you can just see how much she's enjoying it.... lucky girls to have been welcomed into this gorgeous family.

This was a day with some smoke haze, but no smell of smoke in the air. The haze create some eerie light as the afternoon went on, with a big orange bushfire moon for a sun. Unfortunately I think this is just the Australian summer in all its varying weather patterns.
None of this affected the families interaction with Santa at the beach, lots of fun and the usual tears were had.....

So I first met Miss Everest (named after the snow pup in Paw Patrol.... too cute) when she was fresh to the family at just 8 weeks old, a bundle of energy that was very trick to keep up with.... she even tried to eat the camera :-) Then I came back 6 weeks later to take photos of her with her family, and boy had she grown!
It's so adorable to see the joy she brings to them all. Each sibling insisted on their own photos with Everest as they played and cuddled with her, plus her parents! She is one very lucky pup receiving lots and lots of love x

We've been lucky enough to capture memories for this family for a long time, including maternity photographs with their eldest child, her baby portraits and now this little mans baby portraits. The family pets always get included in the portrait sessions as they are very much a part of the family.
So you'll see as the focus of this portrait session was on baby Liam who is 12 weeks old, his big sister and family pets also got very involved in the session.

Every 6 to 12 months I get to catch up with Peter & Callum and have a family portrait session. We've been doing this since Callum was a baby and it's lots of fun. Each time I get to go on an adventure with these guys and capture what they are up to. Sometimes we have Onyx the family dog, a beautiful black labrador, and somethings we are being too adventurous for him.
This session was held at Sydney Park in Alexandria, a great park which was redeveloped from an old brick works. It contains lots of open areas, wetlands with birds and streams and wooded areas. The other great thing about Sydney Park is its an off leash dog park so there are hundreds of people out walking their dogs.
Peter has decided to start a new tradition where we are going to photograph Callum holding a framed photo from our last session so we can see how he's grown. This is the first one on these, and I look forward to seeing how the photos pan out over time.

How goreous is this little rescue dog Tom Tom, it was a delight photograph this perky little dog this morning. He's been with the family for 9 years and is the cutest little dog. The family that own him have moved to America for a few years so their grandparents are looking after him... and loving it! They thought it woudl be nice to have some professional dog portraits taken for the family in America to look at as they miss their dog.
Such a lovely idea, and an adorable dog!

This gorgeous dog is headed for stardom I'm sure, he is just beautiful and if these photos are anything to go by he's very photogenic too.
I just love the smile he has on his face with his tennis ball in his mouth....
