I recently attended the MTHFR Methylation Summit
in Sydney as the professional photography for the conference. I was booked for the event by an old colleague of mine from my Professional Conference Organising days Lisa Harrison from Urban Event Management
who organised the Summit which ran seemlessly as any event Lisa manages does.
My brief was the capture all aspects of the event both for the company running the event MTHFR Support
and their exhibitors. This was an easy task as the conference was well attended and organised allowing plenty of time for the delegates to interact with each other and the exhibitors in breaks, plenty of room to absorb all the information in the conference sessions making notes and a good amount of question time allocated to each presentation.
I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend working in such a great atmosphere, and also found the content of the conference fascinating!
I was recently asked to cover an event for Suttons Motors to use for their business public relations. Suttons undertakes a number of charity initiatives and the most recent one was for the Fred Hollows Foundation. For the month of October they donated a percentage of sales from all car window tints to the foundation and I was there to photograph the presentation of the $30,500 cheque to the representative from the Fred Hollows Foundation. This was a wonderful initiative that from all accounts both management and the sales staff got a lot out of, and raised some much needed money for the foundation. During the presentation there was also a surprise additional cheque from the parts department who had done their own fundraising to add to the donation.
While the whole team were together they also took the opportunity to update their corporate headshots which I took very quick and efficiently utilising a lovey blue wall within the conference room :-)

The CSR Value Champions Awards Dinner for 2015 was held at Public Dining Room at Balmoral. The award winners spent the day doing fun team building activities with their partners and colleagues, then had an afternoon of pampering before a water taxi ride from Circular Quay to Balmoral, arriving in style on a beautiful (if a little windy) afternoon in Sydney.
This is a wonderful event to photograph as the winners have been selected by their peers for outstanding achievement and te management team are very support of everyone. A event I look forward to photographing each year.
The CSR Value Champions dinner is a wonderful event we get to photograph each year. In 2016 is was held at The Tea Room, Gunners' Barracks Mosman a stunning location overlooking Sydney Harbour with fabulous food. The theme this year was red and they did a lovely job theming the room while in keeping with its style.
The Value Champions dinner is about rewards CSR employees who go above and beyond in their jobs and they are voted on by their peers. The winners come to Sydney with their partners and spend the day doing fun activities and getting pampered before their awards night. We always comemorate the event with a couple photograph at the location of the dinner which they keep as a souvenir.
The Oracle Annual Conference was held this year at the Grand Hyatt Sydney, a great conference venue which is beautifully situated within the heritage part of the hotel. Delegates arrvied first thing in the morning and spent the day conferencing, then held a dinner and awards ceremony that evening. We captured the days activities and presented a slideshow of these photographs at the dinner, which was a big success and all the delegates enjoyed reviewing the day plus providing a talking point for them at dinner.
