So every year I say how much we appreciate all the lovely feedback we get from our Aussie Santa clients. The fact that people take the time to write to use to say thank you, especially in the lead up to Christmas always blows me away. And to be honest the feedback and the joy we see from families during their Santa experience is part of the reason we keep doing it year after year, and enjoy it so much!Now each year I say we'll have to share the customer feedback with you, and it's always so hectic that I just don't get around to it. So this year I'm finally doing just that.... so what it's taken until March

A beautiful afternoon at the beach for Santa. Lots of goregous families, most of the children were turned to Santa's charms after initial hesitation.... but some just were too scared, we tried out best.
Thanks to all the families who come down to see us, we invaribly have you leaving enjoying the experience one way or another.

This was a day with some smoke haze, but no smell of smoke in the air. The haze create some eerie light as the afternoon went on, with a big orange bushfire moon for a sun. Unfortunately I think this is just the Australian summer in all its varying weather patterns.
None of this affected the families interaction with Santa at the beach, lots of fun and the usual tears were had.....

Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach Sydney Santa is back to his usual antics for 2019!
The first day of our Santa season was a windy one, so we moved to our southerly wind location, always pretty on the path with the kite surfers in the background. Santa was back to his usual tricks.... very excited about #TeamSanta, throwing balls for dogs, recruiting a new Mrs Claus, making babies cry, having fun with cute kids & dogs.... and a first for us a photo with a CAT!

What a stunning summer afternoon at the beach with Santa.
After our hot and windy session the previous week we all enjoyed this lovely afternoon with a small cooling breeze off the water, beautiful blue skies and lots of fun on the beach. Santa enjoyed his usually challenges but mostly managed to become friends with the children that came to see him.
He also had a good lesson on flossing..... Almost there!

Wow what an afternoon.... hot and windy!
We knew it was going to be hot, sitting at around 35 degrees, great beach weather! But the wind was a surprise, it kept gusting all afternoon requiring Santa hats to tame hair that was flying everywhere. Then about 5.45pm it turned to the South and we thought great it will cool things down..... but it wasn't gusting wind anymore it was just really strong constantly. So can you can see we all turned our backs to the stinging sand hoping it would stop but it just kept coming. So all the lovely families helped us move Santa to the end of the path out of the wind and sand and carried on.
Thank you everyone for your understanding of the conditions and help with adjusting when needed. We still had fun!

Our second Aussie Santa Photo session for 2018 was a lovely afternoon. We had our usual fun with dogs, flossing, letters to Santa and the usual tears..... Santa does spend a lot of time walking away so the kids can relax and then popping up in the background without them knowing :-)

Our last Aussie Santa Photos for 2017 were a little bitter sweet, we've had a ball photograghing hundreds of families this year at Long Reef Beach and are sad to finish, however we are looking forward to Christmas with our families and holidays.

Woweee we thought last week was a hot day for Santa, well Tuesday was definitely warmer but thankfully we weren't photographing the next day which was a scorcher!
Even in the heat everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (except for the odd toddler when it actually came time to say hi to Santa.... all good from a distance!). We also had a few bubbas that were just so relaxed they wouldn't even wake up to see the big man :-)

Another fun afternoon with Aussie Santa at Long Reef Beach.
We had a number of extended families come for photos this afternoon, a great way to get everyone together and remember your Christmas as a big family. It also means with bigger groups we get more people willing to be silly and have a bit of fun!

Last Thursday was HOT HOT HOT, however being at the beach it really didn't feel that hot. It was 40 degrees out in western Sydney but with the sea breeze definitely below 30..... Santa was very happy! Everyone who came for their photos were lolvey and enjoyed being at the beach, many cooling off in the water with a swim. We also had those concerned about Santa and kids who came with a spray bottle to cool him down :-)
As usual we had fun with each family, some needing Santa to play in the sand with them, others jumping for joy, some crying and many enjoying going for a horsey ride on Santa's knee.....

Another cracker afternoon for our Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach. Beautiful blue skies and afternoon sun.... only problem this afternoon was that I got sunburnt!
Lots of fun with all the families, thanks for coming along again. Especially lovely to see previous families with kids to were scared of Santa last year very confident and enjoying sitting on his knee this year!

Unfortunately we had to postpone our Aussie Santa Photos last Friday because of Thunderstorms, there wasn't a huge amount of rain but for the safety of all involved we decided to change the session to Saturday..... best deicision look how good the weather was! And luckily there was only 2 familes that we weren't able to accommodate with the change.
As usual we had a range of reactions to Santa, but he usually wins them over in the end with high fives or just being sneaky and getting into the back of the photo without them knowing....

We once again had a beautiful afternoon to work with for our Aussie Santa Photos, with the mixed bag of responses from the children visiting Santa.
We had one little girl who was hysterical and wouldn't come near Santa, Mum had planned ahead and bought a gift for Santa to give her, as he walked towards her with the gift she got more hysterical and I thought we were never going to get her over the line but as soon as she was given the gift she calmed down..... Santa went for a walk and she came over to have photos with her parents, unbeknownst to her with Santa walking up behind for the photos (see if you can pick which one is her) ..... Below is the lovely feedback we received from her Mum:
"Jen, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your professionalism and patience during Layla's Santa photo yesterday afternoon (she's the one with the Peppa Pig toy that Santa gave her) I really didn't think she was going to go ahead with it. She was talking about Santa for the rest of the afternoon and showing everyone her new toy which Santa gave her. I almost think she is ok with Santa now :)
Thanks again and can’t wait to see the pics.

We were blessed with a beautiful beach afternoon last Sunday for our Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach. Which was great because we had visitors with relatives all over the world, and many came along too. We had grandparents, god parents, cousins, friends..... along with laughter, tears and more!

Last Sunday's Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach on Sydney Northern Beaches was a complete contrast to the Saturday session which was blisteringly hot...... it was cold and windy. But all the families still had fun and smiled with Santa and made sure it didn't look too cold on the beach! Plus we used santa hats to keep everyones hair in the place in the wind.

Our Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach had to be rescheduled last Friday beacuse of bad weather, so we moved all the sessions to the next day and look at the change in weather..... perfect!

Last Sunday was another beautiful afternoon on Long Reef Beach for our Aussie Santa Photos. We had lots of laughs and giggles, plus some tears and screaming of course, also some playing in the sand and cuddles.

As usual Santa had those that loved him, those that were a little wary and those that were scared.... he walked away, he snuck up behind, he played in the sand and he laughed along with the children. Mostly it worked :-)

Santa had a busy afternoon last Sunday, we had crying toddlers, sleeping babies, doing the dab with young boys and lovely dark overcast skies adding drama to the photos.

Our final afternoon of Aussie Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach, on Sydney's northern beaches, was postponed by a day because of rain, but the following day was a beautiful afternoon well worth the wait.
We had a bit of every things this afternoon, lots of fun and laughs with Santa. Plus a 5 DAY OLD baby having her photos with Santa straight from being discharged from the hospital, a family who wanted portraits without Santa, some lovely puppies and a few kids scared who didn't realise Santa was there until the last minute.

Boy it was hot yesterday, but there was a pleasant breeze at the beach and everyone had a great time with Santa. Santa was just very grateful that he is an Aussie and doesn't wear his long hot coat when he's down at the beach :-)

It was a little windy down at the beach on Saturday afternoon, but still lots of fun. We had the Nipper christmas activities in the background, some kite surfers using the wind and perfect light.

We had the first session of the season for our Aussie Beach Santa Photos at Long Reef Beach last sunday. It was a great afternoon we really enjoyed it, capturing families with all the excitment of seeing Santa, and even better at the beach!
My particular favourite was the little girl who bought a letter for Santa, which he read out and the look on her face was priceless, plus all the other lovely moments of the kids listening and talking with Santa so earnestly, plus lots of fun and laughs.
