Kate & Jack's Wedding was awaited with lots of excitment. Kate had spent hours on every detail of the day, with the theme a rustic wedding, lunchtime on a Friday at the Mosman Rowing Club. This suited the couple very well, one of my favourite photos with the old hat and bouquet was commented on my one of the bridesmaids is "exactly them"!
The day started early for the bride and bridesmaids at their family home, then a mid morning wedding at St Francis Xavier Chruch in Lavender Bay. Then we took the bridal party up to Georges Heights Headland in Mosman, for the rustic feel with the old battlements, coastal gums and a little bit of bush. Jack was most relaxed in his grandfathers old work hat, which really suited Jack the outdoor man who is a landscape gardener next to his petite Kate. We had great fun with the whole bridal party, very excited for the couple. We even found the perfect tree to tie in with the couple invitation and wedding theming.
Then onto the party at Mosman Rowing Club. Here Kate had thought of every detail, the table settings were all in the tree theming, the centre pieces were tree stumps cut by Jack from a tree at their new home with rustic jars of garden flowers, and around the room on mirrors were little messages about the day. Everyone had a ball enjoying the speeches and the dancing, plus I have to say they did one of the funkiest bridal waltz's we've seen for a long time.....
Such a gorgeous couple and a beautiful day!
