Jess and Andy were blessed with the most stunning Sydney February day you could imagine for their wedding. After a week of rain, the morning cleared to a beautiful day, if a little steamy, perfect for a wedding ceremony on the lawns of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron at Kirribilli. We were actually married there ourselves many years ago so it was lovely to relive our day through these guys.
We met Jess with her bridemaid sisters and family at a home in Cremorne Point, everyone was very relaxed and so loving and excited for Jess. Then onto the squadron where Andy was excited too with his groomsmen.
The ceremony was conducted under a beautiful floral arch on the lawns at the RSYS with a beautiful component where the couple had written letters to each other which they will store until their first wedding anniversary in a box with a bottle of wine that they will open and read the letters. What a lovely way to relive the feelings they have on this special day.
We then had lots of fun with the bridal party on the grounds along the shore of Sydney Harbour, and under the iconic white jaw bone of the whale. Then to follow the them of the wine into the cellar! Before heading to the reception. The cake had been made with figurines of the couple with their skies as a note to their love of skiing and their honeymoon in the States which they spent skiing!
