Colette & Rob set their wedding date for Friday 13th this January, mainly because 13 is Rob's favourite number, it's holiday time and they aren't superstitious.... Because of the affinity to the number 13 we were determined to find a sign with that number to photograph the couple with, and after looking everywhere found out that Wolfies Grill is #13 in the original sandstone storehouse numbering! It was all meant to be for them, and the day didn't disappoint. We met Rob at St Bede's Pyrmont where the ceremony was to be held, and photographed him with his son and daughter, before Colette arrived with a very excited extended family of her son, father, sisters, niece and nephews. The service was conducted by Father John Baron, is also a forensic psycologist and a fascinating man, the message was all about unity and how everyone there was part of Colette and Rob's family to be there to care for the couple and each other. A message which spoke well to all that were there and seemed so happy for the couple. Following the groups congratulations outside the church we went to Observatory Hill for some fun with just the newly weds, then ended up at Dawes Point to walk around to Wolfies Grill, The Rocks, where the party was starting, and that's exactly what I imagine they did into the night with all their family and friends around them!
